My Story
I'm Starr Baker, the founder of Southern Grace Kitchen. My journey with Southern cooking began in my mother's kitchen. Alice Baker, my mother, was originally from down South, and she learned to cook from her mother, who learned from her mother before her.
These recipes and cooking techniques have been passed down through generations in our family, preserving authentic Southern flavors and traditions. Each dish tells a story of our heritage and the love that goes into Southern cooking.
Southern Grace Kitchen is my way of honoring this legacy and sharing these treasured family recipes with a new generation of home cooks. I believe that everyone should be able to experience the warmth and comfort of Southern cuisine, regardless of their cooking experience.
